| Sanyo PLC-HP7000L Full HD Projector with 7,000 Lumens Brightness Posted: 17 Jun 2011 08:44 AM PDT Sanyo introduces in the US market its new PLC-HP7000L Full HD projector. Powered by Sanyo’s QuaDrive engine, the new projector achieve a brightness of 7000 lumens with just a single high watt lamp. It features 1920×1080 resolution and full 10-bit video processing.
The PLC-HP7000L features Color Control Device that is able to manage yellow, offering color space that is 20% wider than 3LCD. With the company’s Active Maintenance Filter (AMF), the prjector offers very high level of reliability with 10,000 hours active use time without maintenance, reducing maintenance costs significantly. It provides Picture in Picture and Picture By Picture functions. Ease and speed of setup are facilitated through powered zoom and focus controls, in addition to corner keystone correction, which is a combination of vertical and horizontal keystone correction. The PLC-HP7000L provides HDMI input. Accommodating a wide range of venue and display requirements, operators can choose from a total of six optional lenses, and a 360 degree vertical lens setting affording users tremendous flexibility and the ability to be creative when determining projector location. | T-Mobile Samsung Exhibit 4G Android Smartphone Posted: 17 Jun 2011 06:41 AM PDT Along with Gravity Smart, T-Mobile is going to release the Samsung Exhibit 4G Android smartphone supporting HSPA+, its so-called 4G network. The Exhibit 4G is a mid-range Android device powered by 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Samsung’s Exhibit 4G features a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 3 Megapixel camera with flash, a front-facing camera for video chat, GPS support, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD/SDHC card slot. The phone comes with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and the Swype keyboard for quick text input. Thanks to support for T-Mobile’s 4G network and the preloaded T-Mobile TV app, the Exhibit 4G lets enjoy live and on-demand channels, including free programming from select stations like ABC News Now, FOX Sports, PBS Kids and Azteca America. The Samsung 200 series is designed for budget-mind business users. It comes in 19-inch 1400×900 and 21.5-inch 1920×1080 models. The Samsung 450 series is available in 19-inch 1280×1024, 19-inch 1440×900, 21.5-inch 1920×1080, 22-inch 1680×1050, 24-inch 1920×1080 and 24-inch 1920×1200 screen sizes and resolutions. It comes with a height adjustable stand with pivot feature. The 650 series comes in 21.5-inch, 24-inch and 27-inch models. All three models have 1920×1080 Full HD resolution and provide DisplayPort connectivity. Samsung’s 850 series feature Pro panel for perfectionists. Based on Plane Line Switching (PLS) panel technology, the 850 series offers 100-percent coverage of the sRGB spectrum. It is available in 24-inch 1920×1080 and 27-inch 2560×1440 models. Both 650 series and 850 series have feature Proximity and Ambient Light sensors, and upgraded height adjustable stand with pivot feature (strut-type). Samsung’s new LED-backlit displays all features a slim profile with thin matte bezel, and matte display. They have built-in wire and adapter management with hard power switch and tactile buttons.
